MUMBAI: Poonam Pandey, who is known for posting raunchy photos and videos on social networking site Twitter, was arrested for allegedly behaving indecently in public.
According to a police officer involved with the case, Poonam Pandey was in skimpy clothes with a male friend in a car and indulged in inappropriate behaviour at Mumbai's Mira Road, reports The Indian Express.
She was arrested and released later after a warning, Mid-Day report says.
But Poonam had a different story to say and asked if listening to songs in a car amounted to indecent behaviour.

Poonam had first grabbed attention during the 2011 Cricket World Cup when she offered to go nude before Team India if they won.
Though she didn't keep up to her word, a nude photograph of her was posted on Twitter in 2012. However, she has clarified that it was morphed.
She has since been in the news by posting outrageous photographs of herself in various stages of undress on social media sites.
Poonam says her family has given up on her. "They know, 'yeh ladki sudhregi nahin'. You know what? I enjoy all the controversies. I love being in the news. I take everything positively."
